​Hi, my name is Kate Coiro and I'm a multimedia journalist and documentary filmmaker, currently located in Brooklyn, NY.

I believe that storytelling is one of humans' greatest tools to inspire new ideas, challenge misconceptions and connect people from vastly different experiences and backgrounds. While I'm open to a variety of subject matter, I'm most passionate about character-driven stories that shed light on social and/or environmental justice issues.
